Edward de Grazia Dies

Edward de Grazia, the distinguished First Amendment lawyer, civil rights advocate, and  Law and Humanities Institute founding board member, has died. Mr. de Grazia handled important cases for publisher Barney Rosset of Grove Press, and wrote several influential books about free speech, including Girls Lean Back Everywhere: The Law of Obscenity and the Assault on Genius (Random House, 1992). Mr. de Grazia also helped found the Cardozo Law School of Yeshiva University.
