The Law and Humanities Forum of the Modern Language Association is sponsoring a guaranteed session on "Literature,
Law, and Violence" at next year's MLA convention in Chicago (January 3-6,
2019). We invite papers examining the relationship between law and
violence in literary or legal texts from any period and all regions of the
world.
