Just days after the Monroe County Historical Museum announced that it would not longer be producing the stage version of To Kill a Mockingbird, news has surfaced that a newly formed nonprofit group may be working its way toward putting on the play beginning next year. More here from the Associated Press, here from the BBC, which reports that Harper Lee, author of the novel, is leading the nonprofit, called the Mockingbird Company.
