After taking emeritus status at Cooley Law School, Norman Otto Stockmeyer has apparently taken up the cudgels. More here, in "Zombie Verbs and Vampire Nouns," in the spring issue of The Scrivener. Could invented phrases ("Play a factor") be his next target?
