Surveillance and Fiction

Sam Frank discusses how surveillance leads to "noveliz[ation of] our lives." He suggests turning to literature to understand this phenomenon--specifically to novels such as Joshua Cohen's Book of Numbers, Dave Eggers' The Circle, or the classic The Trial, by Franz Kafka.
