Precious Ramotswe, the TV Star

Alexander McCall Smith's novels are headed for the small screen. The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency will star Jill Scott as Precious Ramotswe, the thoughtful sleuth of Mr. Smith's series. Meanwhile, Mr. Smith, a former professor of medical law, is still writing.
